Domain Name System ( DNS ) Server Information
When you buy / rent your domain name from a Domain Name Registrar, you need to specify the Fully Qualified Domain Name ( fqdn ) and IP address of at least two DNS servers for your domain. Please use the information below when registering your domain name.

If you have already purchased your domain name, someone's DNS servers are listed in the root name servers database for your domain. You will need to change your DNS server information to the information below to have Lemonade.net DNS servers act as your authoritative DNS servers. Do not change your DNS servers until you are sure the services you have moved to Lemonade.net servers are ready. Having incorrect DNS server information in the root name servers database will cause interruption of services to your domain.

Check with your registrar to determine the procdeure to change DNS server information. Most allow changes to be made through their web site. Changes to the root name server databases are not instant. It takes time, usually between 12 and 36 hours for the changes to take effect. Additionally, DNS servers around the planet may continue to cache the old IP address of your mail server or web server for additional time. Prepare and be patient as the changes take effect.

When entering the information, some registrars only ask for the server's fully qualified domain name and look up it's IP address in a database.

Primary DNS Server Name: nsn1.lemonade.net

Primary DNS Server IP Address: 208.73.72.12

Secondary DNS Server Name: nsn2.lemonade.net

Secondary DNS Server IP Address: 208.73.72.22

Each domain registration stores three human contacts; Domain Administrator, Billing Contact, and Technical Contact. The Domain Administrator and Billing contacts should be someone in your organization. The technical contact should be the Host Administrator account for Lemonade.net using the information below. Make sure you pay the domain name fee before it expires or you may lose your domain name!

Please set the technical contact as follows:

Teminating service at your old service provider:

It is important to tell your old service provider that you are no longer using their services. For example, if they do not delete your email services their customers' emails sent to your domain may continue to be routed to the old mail server because the server is still hosting your email.

If you have questions, please email support@lemonade.net.
